Physiotherapy is about helping people to understand the biomechanics of their own body and there isn’t a one size fits all approach. Wellness and health is individual to each person. This is why physiotherapy takes time. If we can work together to maximise efficient and good quality movement, it will allow for not only an optimal recovery but will also prevent future injuries.
All appointments at Koromiko are 60 minutes to allow time for comprehensive assessment and treatment. A thorough initial assessment will be done to help identify an underlying cause and this will be discussed with you fully. Possible treatment options will be discussed and progressed to treatment within the session as time allows. You will be provided with a clear plan and guidance to help you move forward in your rehabilitation, which may involve home based programmes and a sequence of follow ups, as well as onward referral if necessary.
