Pre Op

Designed to help you before your cancer surgery. It involves a pre-op assessment to identify any factors that may affect your recovery. A pre-op rehab plan is devised for each individual, which will include specific exercises to strengthen muscles and improve stamina, with education and functional guidance.

Post Op

Designed to assist in the recovery process for those who have recently undergone surgery. At this stage we aim to restore strength and flexibility to particular joints and muscle groups that may have become weaker and/or inflexible as a result of surgery. This may include manual physiotherapy and modified exercises to maximise recovery from surgery, and includes education and functional guidance for home and work environments.

Adjunct Treatment

Designed to facilitate overall conditioning to increase your physical stamina after treatments are completed. Aiming to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility to increase overall endurance, elevate metabolism, improve muscle tone and body composition. The exercise focuses on improving physical function to maximise quality of life. Education on fatigue management, return to work and leisure activities will be included as required.
