
Lindsay is originally from Scotland in the United Kingdom. After completing a degree in Sports and Exercise Science in Edinburgh, she moved to Newcastle upon Tyne to complete her studies in Physiotherapy. Since qualifying, Lindsay has gained several years experience working in hospitals and private musculoskeletal clinics. This experience has involved her treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including acute sports injuries, soft tissue injuries, back and neck pain, chronic pain, headaches and pre and post orthopaedic surgery.
Lindsay has continued her development by completing various courses including acupuncture, therapeutic yoga. Lindsay has since moved to New Zealand where she works in a Physiotherapy clinic specialised in Pilates rehabilitation. She enjoys a diverse approach to rehabilitation which involves a combination of hands on treatment, exercise prescription and client education. She has a particular interest in exercise based therapy and enjoys utilising principles from yoga and pilates to meet clients’ needs.
Lindsay’s personal interests in yoga, strength and conditioning and running have given her a personal insight into the positive effects these can bring to both physical and mental well being. Consequently, she believes in a holistic approach to therapy, aiming to create a safe and friendly environment for you to achieve your goals.
